“He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.”

John 1:23 KJV

"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."  Cries in The Wild Ministries Inc. is a Church with Legs. We believe that the Church is a "organism" and not an "organization." Unlike many assemblies who gather in a building to fellowship, we believe that wherever and whenever we gather the Lord is present. Founded by Pastor Charles Russell, Cries in The Wild Ministries is established upon taking the Word of God beyond the four walls to the areas of need. We hold services out in the open in our community and invite people from all walks of life to join us and hear the Word of the Lord. The Body of Christ must have feet, and how beautiful are the feet of those who bring the Good News.

OUR CORE BELIEFS

Resurrection

Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and was resurrected on the 3rd Day (1    Cor. 15:1-5)

Soteriology

Salvation is by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8) leading into works of faith (repentance- Luke 24:47, baptism).

Baptism is salvific (essential to salvation) & to be done in the name of Jesus Christ  or Lord Jesus according to Mark 16:16, John 3:5, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:48, Acts 8:16, 37-38, Acts 19:5

One Must Repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for remission of sin, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

The Godhead

God is a spirit (John 4:24)

God is One- The LORD God is One (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29)

Jesus Christ is The Son of God, The Logos (Word) of God (John 1:1) manifest in the Flesh (John 1:14) ,Is God Almighty (Rev. 1:8), The Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6), The Holy Spirit (John 14:16;John 14:18; 2 Cor. 2:13; Gal. 4:6).

The Gifts of The Spirit

The 9 Gifts of the Spirit are still in use and granted to every believer severally as the Spirit wills (1 Corinthians 12)

Holiness

Without Holiness none will see the LORD (Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15-17)

Modesty

(1 Peter 2:9, 1 Peter 3:3,4)

Tithing

We believe in giving a voluntary ( not mandated or obligatory) 10% of income based on the economy YHWH established for Israel under the Law but in the heart that Abraham gave before the Law.

Giving-

Giving should be according to as one purposes in their heart, not grudgingly or of necessity. 2 Corinthians 9:6,7

4 Points on Salvation – The Gospel

1.What is Salvation?

Salvation in the Greek is rendered as “sótéria”  (so-tay-ree'-ah) which is defined as

deliverance, salvation, God's rescue which delivers believers out of destruction and into His safety.

2. Why do we need Salvation?

The consequence of Adam’s transgression in the Garden of Eden resulted in death both physical (gradual) and spiritual alienation from God. Through his disobedience many were made sinners and death passed on all mankind. We are all born into sin because we all inherit Adam’s nature at birth.

3. Who is Salvation?

Jesus Christ is our salvation. His voluntary, penal, redemptive, propitiatory, reconciliatory and substitutional sacrifice on Calvary made payment for the wages of sin which is death. He took what we as sinners deserved and died in our stead.

4. How do we receive Salvation?

Salvation is a free gift and not achieved through meritorious works. We must first believe on the Gospel (good news) which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without Faith we cannot please God. We are then to repent which is to turn away from our sin. After Repentance we have to be born again of water and the Spirit through water baptism (full immersion) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and receive the Holy Spirit which seals us as believers and adopts us as sons of God.
