WHO WE ARE
“He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.”
John 1:23 KJV
Cries in The Wild Ministries is a Church with legs. This may sound unusual considering the fact that in modern day Christianity we have limited the term "church" to a building. The Bible speaks of the Church as being a "body" of believers translated as "ekklésia" (ek-klay-see'-ah) defined as an assembly, congregation, the Church, the whole body of Christian believers. We seek to mobilize the Word of God as the Apostles did fulfilling the Great Commission and to bring the Gospel to the people. Founded by Minister Charles A. Russell of Daytona Beach under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Cries in The Wild is outreach centered. Fundamentally we are a ministry that uses Evangelism, Social Media, Music, and Teaching to effectively witness, convert, disciple, and mentor. Our aim is to be a Church in The Wild.
OUR CORE BELIEFS
Through Adam's Transgression all have been born into sin & death was passed unto all by the disobedience of one (Adam) cf: Romans 5:12-14
Jesus Christ died on the Cross, was buried, and was resurrected on the 3rd Day (1 Cor. 15:1-5)
The sacrifice of Christ is penal (Gal. 3:13; 2 Cor. 5:2); one of substitution (Lev. 1:4; Isa. 53:5,6; 2 Cor. 5:21; 1 Pet. 2:24); voluntary (Gen. 22:9; John 10:18); redemptive (Gal. 3:13; Eph. 1:7; 1 Cor. 6:20); propitiatory (Rom. 3:25); reconciling (2 Cor. 5:18,19; Col.1:21,22); efficacious (John 12:32,33; Rom. 5:9,10; 2 Cor. 5:21; Eph. 2:13; Heb. 9:11, 12, 26; 10:10-17; 1 John 1:7; Rev. 1:5); and revelatory (John 3:16; 1 John 4:9,10)
Jesus Christ is The Son of God, The Logos (Word) of God (John 1:1) manifest in the Flesh (John 1:14) ,Is God Almighty (Rev. 1:8), The Everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6), The Holy Spirit (John 14:16;John 14:18; 2 Cor. 2:13; Gal. 4:6).
All MUST be born again of the water and of the Spirit. (John 3:5)
All MUST repent, be baptized in water (Full Immersion) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and receive the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Adoption) (Acts 2:38)
The 9 Gifts of the Spirit (1 Corinthians 12)
The Believer's authority (Mark 16:17-18)
The LORD God is One (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29)
Jesus is the Name above All Names (Philippians 2:9) and the Only Name whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12)
Holiness (1 Peter 1:15-17)
Faith and Works are necessary (James 2:14-26)
Modesty (1 Peter 2:9)
Studying to shew thyself approved (2 Timothy 2:15)
4 Points on Salvation – The Gospel
1.What is Salvation?
Salvation in the Greek is rendered as “sótéria” (so-tay-ree'-ah) which is defined as
deliverance, salvation, God's rescue which delivers believers out of destruction and into His safety.
2. Why do we need Salvation?
The consequence of Adam’s transgression in the Garden of Eden resulted in death both physical (gradual) and spiritual alienation from God. Through his disobedience many were made sinners and death passed on all mankind. We are all born into sin because we all inherit Adam’s nature at birth.
3. Who is Salvation?
Jesus Christ is our salvation. His voluntary, penal, redemptive, propitiatory, reconciliatory and substitutional sacrifice on Calvary made payment for the wages of sin which is death. He took what we as sinners deserved and died in our stead.
4. How do we receive Salvation?
Salvation is a free gift and not achieved through meritorious works. We must first believe on the Gospel (good news) which is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Without Faith we cannot please God. We are then to repent which is to turn away from our sin. After Repentance we have to be born again of water and the Spirit through water baptism (full immersion) in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin and receive the Holy Spirit which seals us as believers and adopts us as sons of God.
